Connect your own domain
Point a domain you own at your site, with one ownership record and one address record.
A paid site plan lets your site use your own domain, such as www.bakery.example. Until then the site stays on its
free xeek.site address.
- Open Site settings → Domains and enter the domain.
- At your domain registrar, add the TXT record Xeek Sites shows. It proves the domain is yours.
- Add the CNAME record for a subdomain such as
www, or the A records for the domain itself. - Wait until the domain shows as connected. Most registrars take a few minutes; some take a few hours.
Xeek Sites then requests the security certificate and switches the site to your domain.
