Manage pages and layers
Add, rename, sort and draft pages in the Pages panel, and rename, lock, hide and reorder layers in the Layers panel.
Pages
Open Pages (Option+Shift+1, Alt+Shift+1 on Windows).
- Add page adds a page and opens it.
- Each page has an actions menu: Rename, Settings…, Move to folder (or New folder…), Duplicate and Delete. Xeek Sites asks before it deletes a page.
- Select several pages to move, duplicate or delete them together. Make draft keeps pages out of the published site; Publish with site puts them back in.
Layers
Open Layers (Option+Shift+2, Alt+Shift+2 on Windows). The tree shows the open page and follows the selection on the canvas.
- Rename layer: double-click its row, press F2 on the row, or press ⌘R (Ctrl+R) on the canvas.
- Lock or unlock (⌘L): a click on the canvas passes over a locked layer. Select it from its row.
- Hide or show (⌘;): a hidden layer isn't shown on the canvas and isn't published. Show hidden layers shows them on the canvas, dimmed.
- Drag a row to reorder it or to put it inside another layer. Option+↑ and Option+↓ (Alt on Windows) move the selected row.
- The search box finds layers by name, text or type. Enter selects the next match.
- Collapse all layers (Option+L, Alt+L on Windows) folds the tree.
